- The SolarMid AL profile is ideal for mounting substructures for photovoltaic systems on pitched roofs. The profile rail has an enlarged cross-section of 83 mm in height, which optimises it for construction in installations with few roof support points and/or particularly high forces acting on the structure. Thanks to its high load-bearing capacity, the SolarMid profile can be used to reduce the number of support points.
- The SolarMid AL profile is made of AW 6063 T6 aluminium alloy in accordance with EN 755-2:2013. The four side grooves and the bottom groove are compatible with SKS M8 screws or RHS hammerhead screws. They enable quick and easy installation. The SolarMid profile rail is compatible with both PMU/PMCU universal clamps and PM-F/PM-C pre-assembled clamps. The SolarMid profile can be installed on pitched roofs using RH and GT hooks. For non-removable corrugated sheets, the STSR and STSI double-threaded screws can be used, and for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs, the DLA and DLAK clamps can be used.
