- The workman basket is used to pick up people for working at heights.
- The maximum working height depends on the carrier vehicle used.
- In accordance with Directive 86/663/EEC for power-driven industrial trucks, the load capacity specified on the carrier vehicle refers to the standard lifting height of 3.30 metres. For greater heights (>3.30 m), the actual load capacity of the carrier vehicle must be checked (this information can be found in the technical documentation or on the type plate of the carrier vehicle).
- At the lifting height corresponding to the height of the raised work platform, the load capacity must be at least 5 times the weight resulting from the dead weight of the work platform, the weight of the person(s) travelling on the platform and the payload.
- The distance between the forks must be approx. 530 mm according to the fork pocket.
