- The solvent sampling system allows high-purity liquids to be decanted quickly and easily.
- The sampling system ensures the safe and accurate filling of various solvents in laboratory and industrial settings.
- The system consists of a drum pump with a fixed outlet elbow and a wall-mounted pressure regulator for adjusting the inlet pressure.
- The drum pump’s infinitely adjustable immersion tube can be adapted to the relevant container.
- The pump is secured to the container using a drum coupling.
- A pressure gauge allows the inlet pressure to be monitored visually.
- The device features a drum coupling for steel drums with an R 2" thread. Using the threaded adaptors supplied, the system can be adapted to various standard containers.
- The compressed air or nitrogen supply, for an operating pressure of 3 to 10 bar, is provided via a mobile or stationary compressed gas supply.
- Compressed air or nitrogen is used to create positive pressure inside the container, which forces the liquid out of the container.
- The compressed gas-powered sampling system allows larger quantities of liquid to be drawn off, whilst both hands remain free to manage the filling process.
- The sampling system is also suitable for dispensing various solvents, such as acetone, ethanol or methanol. Dosing is carried out via the drain tap.
- For oxygen-sensitive or high-purity media, operation with an inert gas, such as nitrogen, is possible.
- The drum coupling and shut-off valves seal the drum and pump during operation and after sampling. This reduces the escape of solvent-containing vapours from the closed system.
- This portable sampling system can be used at various workstations and offers a range of connection options.
- The scope of delivery includes a transport stand, an earthing cable for the pressure control unit, a connecting hose, a key and an adapter for the pressure supply.
- The device is suitable for UN containers and drums with a test pressure of at least 150 kPa and complies with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
