The SMC Air Management System (AMS) with an electro-pneumatic regulator is used in pneumatic systems that require intelligent pressure regulation. It is particularly suitable for monitoring flow, pressure and temperature.
Thanks to its integrated condition monitoring, the system is suitable for production lines with a high degree of automation. Its modular design allows it to be adapted to various machine configurations. Its communication capabilities support its use in networked manufacturing environments.
Description
The AMS Air Management System with an electro-pneumatic regulator from SMC consists of a module featuring an integrated regulator, a display and electrical and pneumatic connections.
Features include a programmable standby and shutdown mode, automatic leakage detection and pressure regulation. The system has a modular design and features an IO-Link interface for integration into Industry 4.0 environments.
Installation can be carried out directly or using a connection kit. The Air Management System features a non-lockable residual pressure relief valve, which is available in either a pressure-less open or closed design. Depending on the variant, various communication protocols are available, as well as an Air Management Hub with a selection function for units.
