Product Description
- The C55 compact cylinder from SMC is suitable for linear motion applications in general mechanical and plant engineering.
- It is used, for example, in automation systems, assembly equipment, handling systems and packaging machines for pushing, clamping, positioning or feeding workpieces.
- The version without a solenoid is ideal when there is no need to detect the piston position via a signal transmitter.
- The SMC ISO compact cylinder C55 is a double-acting pneumatic cylinder with a single-ended piston rod featuring an external thread.
- The compact design allows for use in confined spaces and offers a wide range of mounting options.
- The cylinder features elastic damping on both sides and is lubricated for the entire service life, meaning that no relubrication is required.
- The C55 model does not have an integrated solenoid for signal detection.
