Product Description
  • The CJ5BSR round cylinder from SMC is designed for applications in the manufacturing industry and automation technology.
  • It is suitable for use in environments exposed to splashing water, for example in food processing areas, but not in direct contact with food.
  • Typical applications include linear movements in pneumatic systems operated by compressed air.
  • The version with NBR seals (nitrile rubber) is recommended for chlorine- and sulphur-free media.
Description
  • The CJ5BSR round cylinder from SMC is manufactured from SUS304/1.4301 stainless steel in accordance with DIN 1.4301 and fitted with NBR seals.
  • It is double-acting with a single-ended piston rod and elastic damping.
  • The grease used for the food industry complies with FDA guidelines.
  • The cylinder can be dismantled to replace the seals, which extends its service life.
  • All external parts are made of stainless steel.
  • The fasteners are electrolytically polished; this makes them smoother and prevents the accumulation of liquids and foreign matter.
  • Plugs for unused connection threads prevent debris from entering the thread.
