Product Description
  • The SMC HEC-W cooling and temperature control unit is used to regulate the temperature of heat sources and process fluids.
  • It is suitable for applications in laboratory, medical, analytical and manufacturing technology where a constant medium temperature is required.
  • Typical applications include electron microscopes, X-ray machines, laser beam processing systems and the temperature control of chamber electrodes.
  • The unit is used to cool or heat a circulating medium in order to ensure stable process conditions.
Description
  • The SMC HEC-W cooling and temperature control unit is water-cooled and, thanks to Peltier technology, enables precise control of the temperature of circulating media.
  • The unit is capable of both cooling and heating and automatically switches between the two operating modes via a PID controller.
  • The water-cooled version reduces the impact of ambient temperature on temperature control.
  • Depending on the model, the unit is fitted with an RS-485 or RS-232C interface for communication.
