The SMC I-G ball joint is used in pneumatic systems and machinery to provide an articulated connection for cylinders.
It is used to connect pneumatic cylinders to moving machine components in automation, conveying and handling systems where movements need to be compensated for.
The I-G ball joint is suitable for use with the CG1, CG3, CQ2, RQ, CLQ, CVQ and CQU series of pneumatic cylinders.
Description
The SMC I-G ball joint is made of ductile cast iron and is fitted directly onto the piston rod thread.
It provides a flexible connection between the cylinder and the attached component.
