- The SMC I-G ball joint is used in pneumatic systems and machinery to provide an articulated connection for cylinders.
- It is used to connect pneumatic cylinders to moving machine components in automation, conveying and handling systems where movements need to be compensated for.
- The I-G ball joint is suitable for use with the CG1, CG3, CQ2, RQ, CLQ, CVQ and CQU series of pneumatic cylinders.
- The SMC I-G ball joint is made of ductile cast iron and is fitted directly onto the piston rod thread.
- It provides a flexible connection between the cylinder and the attached component.
