Product Description
The CP96SDBW pneumatic cylinder from SMC is used in mechanical engineering and industrial automation for linear motion.
It is suitable for applications where forces and movements are required on both sides of the piston rod.
Thanks to the magnet, it is suitable for systems in which the piston position is to be monitored via signal transmitters.
The double-acting design allows for controlled movement in both directions.
The combination of pneumatic and elastic damping supports dynamic applications with controlled end-of-stroke movement.
Description
The CP96SDBW pneumatic cylinder from SMC is a double-acting ISO standard cylinder in accordance with ISO 15552, in a basic version with a through-type piston rod and solenoid.
The through-type piston rod allows force to be applied on both sides of the cylinder.
The integrated magnet allows the use of signal transmitters to detect the piston position.
The cylinder is designed for operation with compressed air and is permanently lubricated, so no additional lubrication is required.
The damping is provided on both sides as pneumatic and elastic damping.
