Product Description
- The Series 481 pressure reducer offers reliable protection for domestic water supply systems and commercial and industrial systems against excessive supply pressure.
- Pressure reducing valves are used when a certain pressure must not be exceeded on the outlet side of the pipework despite different pressures on the inlet side.
- This pressure reducer is ideally suited for use in drinking water supplies in accordance with DIN 1988, in process water supplies for industrial and building technology, in snowmaking systems, in fire extinguishing technology and sprinkler systems, in shipbuilding and offshore installations, as well as in secondary areas of the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
- These robust pressure reducing valves in solid metal design with screw connections have proven themselves particularly in harsh operating conditions in the industrial sector for a wide variety of media, including aggressive media, and in fluctuating ambient temperatures.
- The materials in the 481 series are optimised for a wide range of water qualities and hot water applications.
- With the additional back pressure ranges of 0.5 to 2 bar and 5 to 15 bar, a wide range of applications - beyond the standard setting range of 1 to 8 bar - is served.
- The pressure reducer is optionally available with an internal thread.
