Product Description
  • The pressure reducer of the 481 series offers reliable protection of domestic water supply systems and commercial and industrial systems from excessively high supply pressure.
  • Pressure reducers are used when a certain pressure on the output side must not be exceeded in the pipe network despite different pressures on the inlet side.
  • This pressure reducer is ideally suited for use in drinking water supply according to DIN 1988, in service water supply for industrial and building technology, in snow-making systems, in fire extinguishing technology and in sprinkler systems, in shipbuilding and offshore systems, as well as in secondary areas of the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries .
Application
  • These robust pressure reducers in full metal design with screw connections have proven themselves especially in rough operating conditions in the industrial sector for a wide variety of, including aggressive media, and at fluctuating ambient temperatures.
  • The materials of the 481 series are optimized for a wide variety of water qualities and hot water applications.
  • With the additional downstream pressure ranges of 0.5 to 2 bar and 5 to 15 bar, a wide range of applications is served - beyond the standard setting range of 1 to 8 bar.
  • The pressure reducer is optionally available with an internal thread.
