- The mobile tank-mounted eye wash is used wherever there is no fixed water connection or where it is difficult to install one. It is particularly suitable for construction sites, industrial plants, storage areas and other workplaces where there is a risk from chemicals, dust or foreign objects. There, it serves as a rapid first-aid solution for eye rinsing and as a temporary measure until a permanently installed emergency shower can be reached.
- The BR 960 005 mobile tank eye wash unit from B-SAFETY is a portable first-aid device for immediate eye rinsing in emergency situations. It features a stainless steel tank with a capacity of approx. 14 litres and is mounted on a sturdy hand trolley with solid rubber tyres, allowing it to be used flexibly at various locations.
- Pressure is generated by compressed air, resulting in a steady water flow of approximately 7 litres per minute. This allows for a flushing time of around 2 minutes. The system is activated via a hand-held eye wash unit with a wide-spray shower head, which ensures effective and gentle flushing of the eyes.
- Filling is carried out via a large, secure hinged lid. In addition, the eye wash unit is equipped with a pressure relief valve, a backflow preventer and a standard-compliant information sign. The system complies with the requirements of DIN EN 15154-4 and ANSI Z358.1, thereby meeting relevant safety standards.
