Product Description
  • The PowerFast II CTP wood construction screw is ideally suited for wood-wood joints, metal-wood joints, rafter-purlin joints, substructures as well as fastening of on-roof insulation.
  • The screw is approved for glulam made of softwood, cross-laminated timber, coarse chipboard (e.g. OSB boards), solid structural timber, glulam boards made of solid wood, softwood - solid wood (e.g. Douglas fir, spruce, pine, fir, ...), hardwood (solid wood) made of beech, ash or oak, glulam made of beech, ash or oak, laminated veneer lumber LVL, BauBuche as well as laminated beams Duo- and Triobalken.
Application
  • The PowerFast II CTP wood construction screw is electrogalvanized and blue passivated. It has a countersunk head with inner star receptacle. The hexagonal head enables flush-surface screw fastening by guaranteeing maximum force transmission with maximum bit stability. The partial thread also enables wooden elements to be pulled tightly together. Thanks to the bottom head geometry with an optimized double cone and milling pockets, attachments made of wood and metal are less damaged, thus reducing corrosion. The milling pockets also prevent protrusions on metal attachments and facilitate the attachment of further structures. The thread pitch of the screw significantly reduces the screw-in time and thus increases the cost-effectiveness of users' projects.
  • The new screw geometry enables precise positioning and good machining of the wood flour. This makes small edge and center distances possible, which is what makes various wood constructions possible in the first place.
  • The high-performance sliding coating reduces the screwing torque, this extends the battery life and improves the even and smooth screwing feel.
