- "Cup Rivet" - The rivet body of GESIPA® CAP ® blind rivet itself is absolutely airtight and watertight, just like a cup. Like a cup can not pass, but around oozing around the rivet moisture and liquid though.
- For technical reasons, the rivet mandrel of GESIPA® CAP ® blind rivet must be fixed in the hollow rivet. Thus, the rivet body during the setting process can, however, be deformed only slightly. As a consequence, has a cup-blind rivet only marginal Lochleibungseigenschaften. However, these are necessary to compensate for larger hole tolerances.
