Product Description
- The blind rivet is suitable for watertight and airtight connections.
- The blind rivet enables a reliable "tight" connection.
- The rivet body of the GESIPA® CAP ® blind rivet itself is absolutely airtight and watertight, just like a cup. As with a mug, moisture and liquid cannot seep through, but still seep around the rivet.
- For technical reasons, the mandrel of the GESIPA® CAP ® blind rivet must be fixed in the hollow rivet. As a result, however, the rivet body can only deform a little during the setting process. As a consequence, a cup-type blind rivet has only marginal embedment properties. However, these are necessary in order to be able to compensate for larger borehole tolerances.
