The fischer SX Plus expansion plug is ideal for fixing items such as lights, coat racks, motion detectors, skirting boards, small wall shelves, mirror cabinets, letterbox units, TV stands, trellises, ceiling lights and fire alarms.
The SX Plus is suitable for a wide range of building materials, such as cracked and uncracked concrete, solid bricks, solid calcium silicate blocks, aerated concrete, hollow bricks, perforated calcium silicate blocks, lightweight concrete hollow blocks, lightweight concrete solid blocks, natural stone, hollow brick and concrete ceilings, and solid plasterboard.
The wall plug is suitable for both pre-insertion and through-insertion installation.
Description
The fischer SX Plus Green expansion plug is designed for simple and secure installation in solid and perforated building materials.
The fixing wings make it easy to pre-secure the screw in the wall plug. This means that the screw does not need to be held in place at all times – particularly when working overhead – leaving both hands free for the installation process.
The flexible anchor flange prevents the anchor from being inserted too deeply into the drill hole. The four-way expansion ensures that the force is distributed evenly into the building material, achieving high holding values in both solid and perforated building materials.
The expansion-pressure-free dowel neck reduces expansion forces on the surface of the building material when the screw is driven in, thereby minimising the risk of tiles or plaster flaking off.
The distinct tightening torque makes it easier to check that the screw is correctly seated and helps to prevent the screw from being overtightened. Thanks to its shape, the SX Plus can be inserted into the drill hole with just a few taps of a hammer.
