Product Description
- The PowerFast II HWTF wood construction screw is ideally suited for wood-wood joints, metal-wood joints, substructures as well as fastening metal railings to wood substructures.
- The screw is approved for glued laminated timber made of softwood, cross laminated timber, coarse particle boards (e.g. OSB boards), solid structural timber, glued laminated timber boards made of solid wood, solid softwood (e.g. Douglas fir, spruce, pine, fir, ...), hardwood (solid wood) made of beech, ash or oak, glued laminated timber made of beech, ash or oak, laminated veneer lumber LVL, BauBuche as well as laminated beams Duo- and Triobalken.
- The PowerFast II HWTF wood construction screw is galvanized and blue passivated. It has a hexagonal head with inner star receptacle. The hexagonal head with pressed-on washer and special bottom head geometry enables the use of sockets, the inner star TX drive alternatively guarantees highest power transmission with maximum bit stability. The head ensures very high power transmission, which makes it suitable, for example, for screwing in hardwood as well as metal-wood connections. The screw's thread enables metal elements to be tightly fastened to wood. The screw tip of the FPF II HWTF has three ribs that ensure fast biting and pre-milling. This facilitates the application of the screw and noticeably reduces the splitting behavior in the material. The increased thread pitch of the screw significantly reduces the screw-in time and thus increases the cost-effectiveness of users' projects.
- The new screw geometry enables precise positioning and good machining of the wood flour. This makes small edge and center distances possible, which is what makes various wood constructions possible in the first place.
- The high-performance sliding coating reduces the screwing torque, this extends the battery life and improves the even and smooth screwing feel.
